Windows Media / Microsoft Expression supported hardware capture devices

For live encoding, the following hardware capture devices have been tested as live sources, however this list is not a recommendation or endorsement of any product:

• Black Magic Intensity Pro ViewCast Osprey 230
• ViewCast Osprey 530
• ViewCast Osprey 450e
• ViewCast Osprey 700HD
• Winnov Videum 4000
• WinTV HVR-950

This list is compiled by Microsoft. There may be other capture devices that will work with Microsoft Expression Encoder, although, if you use a device that is not listed, you will have to test if it works correctly with the encoder.

Any Microsoft DirectShow compatible video capture device should work and is generally listed on device specifications.
