How to: On-Demand file types and naming

Naming your On-Demand content and selecting a file type

Available file types:

Flash On-Demand streaming:
mp4: MP4 (QuickTime container – .mp4, .f4v, .mov, .m4v, .mp4a, .3gp, and .3g2)
flv: FLV
mp3: mp3
mp4 content must be encoded using H.264 video and AAC audio.

Windows Media On-Demand streaming:
wmv, wma, mp3

Naming your content:

When naming your content you should avoid using spaces and special characters in your file names. We would also recommend using lower case throughout your file names to allow ease of use.  Please see the below example.

Bad file names: My Video 12&3_`test.mp4
Correct file name: my_video_123_test.mp4
