What do I need to get started?

Content - live or On Demand - audio or video
If you are going to stream live you will need:
- a simple PC
- encoding software (NetroMedia will send you links to download this free software)
- method of connecting your live feed to the PC
- reliable Internet connection
- NetroMedia streaming account. (which is included in your PPV solution)
If you are going to stream On Demand your will need:
- streaming media content / files
- description of each file
- how much want to charge for each title

How does it work?

Live -

NetroMedia's aquisition server network captures your live encoded broadcast and prior to streaming it through our distribution matrix, applies a payment coding / or watermark onto your stream.
Whenever it is clicked on for viewing or listening the NetroMedia payment gateway or your payment gateway will be activated. Prompting the user to enter their credit card information. After the credit card has been successfully processed the

On Demand

You will receive an FTP site on NetroMedia's On demand storage network for you to upload your content. Once uploaded all the content will be watermarked with a "payment" coding. Ensuring before it can be played payment must be recevied.

Streaming options after payment has been received can be set by you. Options vary from number of times a user can play the content after first play to number of hours or days the user can play the title after first play.

REV. Share -

NetroMedia can also supply this service on a Revenue Sharing format. Both you and NetroMedia share the proceeds of the Pay Per View program.
